North German-style Pilsner, a brilliant and zesty lager with ample hop bite. Malted rye with noble Tettnanger and Spalt hops deliver a spicy refreshing zing. A perfect beer for any occasion. 5% ABV Profile notes: Pale golden with thinning white head, black pepper sharp hop aroma with faint toasted grain and sulfur yeast lingering in the back, crisp slight malt sweetness behind noble hop forward balance, bitter hop is perceived as dryness that does not linger in the aftertaste. G13 IPA is a strange new strain, indeed. We took the dank hop profile you’d expect from a hazy IPA, and married it with terpenes and natural hemp flavors. The result is a big yet balanced IPA that mimics the aroma and taste of a heady, green G13. G13 IPA is a sticky super-hybrid that’s ready to rip. Pungent and dank aromatics on this terpene infused IPA fill the room once the beer is opened. We went with an aggressive dry hop schedule which interlaces nicely with the unique flavors to bring forward citrus and earthy notes followed by a resinous finish. This one’s fire! Colombus and Simcoe in the boil and dry hop!

Dominant impressions of latte coffee with powerful chocolate aromas in the nose. The alcohol esters are enveloped with hints of autumn wood, citrus zest (orange, lemon) and freshly baked biscuits. The initial taste is sweetly sinful. Beer and chocolate trapped into one single glass, a liquid milky draught with a backbone of bitter malt. The alcohol warms the throat and, in the finish, you will pick up traces of cloves, citrus, orange and mocha. The heaviest of the Rochefort beers, the 10 is a quadrupel style beer and can be recognized by its blue label.

Originally called "Spécial," Rochefort 8 dates to the mid-1950s. The name comes from the original gravity in "Belgian degrees." We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory–maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it’s made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beverage will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make things taste better. Perhaps you’re mouthing your words as you read this.

It all began when a circus owner’s misfortune at a game of cards bestowed the city of Avondale with a great gift. His prize attraction, Miss Fancy the Elephant, would inadvertently become the city’s greatest spokesperson. Known as the Queen of Avondale, Miss Fancy performed a wonder of tricks at her home in Avondale Zoo. During prohibition, City Hall kept a special Miss Fancy reserve on hand at all time in order to treat her stomach aliment. When her stomach starting acting up, Mr. Todd would call the prohibition officers down to the zoo for a little hooch action. Miss Fancy’s Tripel is a strong Belgian golden ale rich in flavor and alcohol. The use of malts, traditional hops, a proprietary yeast blend and Belgian candi sugar creates a very special beer named after a very special elephant. Miss Fancy’s Tripel is remarkably smooth and refreshing for such a high ABV beer. CAUTION! Miss Fancy’s Tripel is brewed for humans but strong enough for elephants.

Before Miss Fancy came to Avondale, she belonged to a travelling circus that toured the country. One of Miss Fancy’s favorite companions at the circus was a joker and magician. He was a mischievous fellow, doing card tricks, juggling acts and other feats of amazement. You should see what he can do with some coffee beans and hops! No Joka Mocha is a coffee oatmeal chocolate stout that is decidedly weighted towards the coffee end of the taste spectrum. This brew has a blackish pour with a creamy tan head. Solid coffee aroma greets the nose with deep rich malts in the background. It has a medium body that is slightly sweet, light chocolate and finishes smooth with the oatmeal. Our special blend of Blue Batak Sumatran Coffee used in this brew comes to us specially roasted from our good friend Woody at Finer Grind Coffee Roasters. Together with Woody, we combined our passion for beer and coffee together to craft this seasonal brew.

When the city of Avondale was formed in the 1850's, the main thoroughfare become know as Spring Street, and on this street (now 41st Street) is where you will find the present day home of Avondale Brewing Company. Spring Street Saison is a Belgian style farmhouse ale. The Saison is our flagship brew that helped spawn the formation of Avondale Brewing Co. Our Saison is brewed with our proprietary house yeast, a 4 malt blend and traditional Slovenian hops. Our unique brewing process along with the combination of the finest ingredients creates a thirst quenching brew with no equal. True to style this unfiltered ale has a coppery golden color and rich malty backbone that creates a unique farmhouse brew. Avondale’s beloved Miss Fancy the Elephant’s favorite pastime was to guzzle bootleg beer and whiskey. We share Miss Fancy’s affinity for tasty brews, which is why we were inspired to add a twist to one of our favorites: with hints of exotic vanilla extract, we think the Vanillaphant Porter would have been one of Miss Fancy’s favorites too! The Vanillaphant is a superb vanilla porter, an ale which is surprisingly light bodied for its robust flavor and has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavors you would expect in a porter but with a special vanilla twist at the end. We use the worlds finest hand selected vanilla beans from the bourbon islands of Madagascar in our recipe. The malty and vanilla sweetness are perfectly balanced with hoppy bitterness.

25 years ago, The Koningshoeven brewery baptized her beloved Quadrupel under the approving glance of the monks. A closely guarded recipe became reality, and the first Quadrupel beer in the world was born. Still, Quadrupel is unique in its kind. Originally brewed as a seasonal for the real beer lovers. Meanwhile, an acclaimed beer with a stunning amber color and a warm, intense flavour. Malty sweet, slightly burnt and pleasantly bitter with a sweet aftertaste. A heavy beer with 10% alcohol, which has a true 'taste evolution’ because of the secondary fermentation after bottling. A wine amongst beers with aromas of banana, almond and vanilla.

A beautifully balanced American Pale Ale, that bursts with grapefruit aroma and taste. Aggressive use of Citra throughout the boil, and massively dry-hopped to accentuate the citrus notes of the Citra hop. Available now in draft only, but look for packaged version in Jan 2017.

The Chimay Blue Cap, baptized "Grande Reserve" in 750 ml bottles is a dark Trappist beer with a powerful aroma, the complex flavor of which improves across the years. It was first brewed as a Christmas beer by the monks of Scourmont Abbey in 1956. This authentic Belgian beer, whose tinge of fresh yeast is associated with a light rosy flowery touch, is particularly pleasant. Its aroma, perceived as one enjoys it, only accents the delightful sensations revealed by the odor, all revealing a light but agreeable caramelized note. It is ideally served at cellar temperature (10 to 12°C).

Brewed in collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing, Tennessee Jeppe & the Thoroughbred Hillbilly is a dark, rich Imperial Stout brewed with Muddy Pond Sorghum Syrup and malt smoked by Allan Benton of Benton's Country Hams.

Blue Moon Belgian White, Belgian-style wheat ale, is a refreshing, medium-bodied, unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale spiced with fresh coriander and orange peel for a uniquely complex taste and an uncommonly smooth finish.

Our year round American Amber Ale is copper colored, light, and easy drinking. Munich malt, Caramel malts, and a touch of dehusked chocolate malt add a touch of body, and a whirlpool addition of Centennial hops creates a balanced finish.

We use a heavy end of boil hop addition of Cascade and Zythos as well as Apollo hop oil extract. Then we add a first heavy dry hop of Cascade and Eureka towards the end of fermentation which give the yeast an opportunity for biotransformation. Fruit and citrus forward aromas are multiplied by a secondary dry hop of Cryo Citra. Enjoy this IPA fresh!

The St.Bernardus Abt 12 is the pride of our stable, the nec plus ultra of our brewery. Abbey ale brewed in the classic 'Quadrupel' style of Belgium's best Abbey Ales. Dark with a full, ivory-colored head. It has a fruity aroma, full of complex flavours and excells because of its long bittersweet finish with a hoppy bite. (10,0% ABV) Worldwide seen as one of the best beers in the world. It's a very balanced beer, with a full-bodied taste and a perfect equilibrium between malty, bitter and sweet. One of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren

Bornem double is a “lively” abbey beer that, after its first fermentation in the barrel, nicely evolves during its second fermentation in the bottle or in the barrel. Soft as velvet, this double with warm darkbrown colour and burgundy undertones has a fruity taste and hoppy after taste. Its creamy, rich and firm foam head crowns it. Few other dark doubles can match this BORNEM DOUBLE. The Dark double is often served with meat dishes, such as steaks, roasted meat, wild or even sausages.

Bornem Tripel is a “lively” abbey beer of 9% content alcohol that after its first fermentation in the barrel, evolves during its second fermentation in the bottle or in the barrel. Abbey tripels are mostly blonde or light amber in colour. The Bornem Tripel tastes hoppy and full with an excellent sweet-bitter balance. Its pleasant scent and nice foam head make this beer a winner in its kind. Bornem Tripel is a powerful beer to enjoy as dessert or as appetizer. Some prefer it with mussels or other seafood. This abbey beer also suits excellent with a hearty cheese platter.

This light amber coloured Piraat with full foam head overwhelms with an aroma of bitter, spicy, malty and alcoholic scents. What follows is a perfect combination of malty, sweet and hopbitter tastes, after which you are drowned in a very long, semi-sweet after taste with bitter undertone.

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

An easy drinking session ale brewed with American 2 Row, Munich, White Wheat, and Corn. This light bodied beer has a soft mouthfeel and slight sweetness from the corn. A late dose of American hops and low fermentation temps give the finish on this everyday brew some bright citrus tones. Free Mason Island is a shell island approximately 5 miles from the main Chandeleur Island chain and one of our best wade fishing spots we have access to from the Mississippi Coast.

Tangerine Sour Ale

Jai Alai, a game native to the Basque region of Spain, is played on a court called a fronton. Jai Alai players attempt to catch a ball using a curved mitt whilst the ball travels at speeds up to 188mph! Proving they have a sense of humor the Spanish dubbed this game, with its ball traveling at race car speeds, “the merry game.” Tampa was once home to a bustling Jai Alai fronton but sadly all that remains of Jai Alai in the Tampa Bay area is this India Pale Ale that we brew in tribute to the merry game. The India Pale Ale style of beer has its roots in the ales sent from England to thirsty British troops in India during the 18th century. Pair Jai Alai India Pale Ale with beef empanadas, deviled crabs, and other spicy dishes.

60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped -- more than 60 hop additions over a 60-minute boil. Getting a vibe of where the name came from? 60 Minute is brewed with a slew of great Northwest hops. A powerful but balanced East Coast IPA with a lot of citrusy hop character, it's the session beer for hardcore enthusiasts!

Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute IPA "perhaps the best IPA in America." An imperial IPA best savored from a snifter, 90 Minute has a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.

An oak-aged, gentle giant. Two "threads," or batches, of beer — an English-style old ale and an imperial IPA — are brewed and, after separate fermentation in stainless tanks, are transferred and blended together in large oak tanks.

A refreshing neo-Berliner Weisse, Festina Pêche is available during the sweaty months. Sadly, there are only a few breweries left in Berlin still brewing the Berliner Weisse style, which is characterized by its intense tartness (some say sour). There were once over 70 breweries in Berlin alone making this beer! In addition to fermentation with an ale yeast, Berliner Weisse is traditionally fermented with lactic cultures to produce its acidic (or green apple-like) character. Served as an apertif or summertime quencher, Festina is delicately hopped and has a pale straw color. To soften the intense sourness, Berliner Weisse is traditionally served with a dash of essence of woodruff or raspberry syrup. In Festina Pêche, since the natural peach sugars are eaten by the yeast, the fruit complexity is woven into both the aroma and the taste of the beer so there is no need to doctor it with woodruff or raspberry syrup. Just open and enjoy!

Flesh & Blood began with a ton of real citrus including lemon flesh and blood orange juice—hence the name—plus orange and lemon peel. Then the brewers began searching for the perfect combination of hops to perfectly complement the citrus flavors.

The closest an ale can legally be to wine! With 51% of the fermentable sugars coming from grain and 49% coming from grapes, Mixed Media is a complex saison-esque ale brewed with a distinct Belgian yeast strain. Using a late-harvest Viognier grape must from our friends at Alexandria Nicole Cellars in Washington, you'll find notes of white grape and melon in the aroma, and greeted with a spicy white wine body in every sip. As our newest spin in the beer-wine world, Mixed Media appeals to both the Pinot Gris and beer drinker alike with a crisp, dry and tart ale that will leave you 'puckering' for more.

A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher. Namaste White was originally brewed at our pub in Rehoboth Beach with our Italian friend Leo from Birra del Borgo. It was a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production) in 2009.

SeaQuench Ale is a session sour mash-up of a crisp Kolsch, a salty Gose, and a tart Berliner Weiss brewed in sequence with black limes, sour lime juice and sea salt to make this the most thirst-quenching beer Dogfish Head has ever brewed.

Our quest was simple: we wanted to make the best White Ale we've ever tasted. We got there with the complex flavors of the classic witbier, including orange peel and coriander – all brewed with pure Icelandic water and a touch of oats that deliver a cool smoothness that is uniquely flavorful and refreshingly drinkable.

Space Dust :: A Totally Nebular IPA. Great Western premium two-row, combined with c-15 and Dextri-Pils, give this beer a bright and galactic Milky Way hue. The hopping is pure starglow energy, with Chinook to bitter and late and dry additions of Citra and Amarillo. Space Dust is out of this world, with 62 IBU, and 7.2% ABV.

It's 4:53 p.m. on a Friday in July in downtown Mobile. All that stands between you and a weekend of rest and relaxation on the Eastern Shore is 7.5 miles of Mobile Bay, and you have two ways to cross it. Any Lower Alabamian can tell you to leave the Bayway and its traffic to the tourists and take the Causeway instead, and it was with that advice in mind that we named our summer IPA. Copious amounts of Citra and Simcoe hops are used throughout the brewing process in this American India Pale Ale. From first-wort to bittering, flavor, aroma and dry hops, an artful combination of just two extraordinary hops leads to an explosively hoppy finish on the palate.

This kolsch style ale is as light and refreshing as you would expect. This brew, the brewery's 5th year-round bottled beer, is great for a hot afternoon or reward for working in the yard.

Fairhope 51 is a classic American pale ale, brewed with a combination of American-made Falconer's Flight hops and German hops. Named for being the 51st recipe entry into head brewer Dan's beer notebook, this pale ale is packed with hop flavor but not overly bitter. Though this crisp, flavorful beer was 51 in Dan's notebook, we expect it to be your top choice for a pale along the Eastern Shore.

I Drink Therefore I Amber boasts a rich mahogony color imparted by the generous use of specialty malts in the mash. A combination of Australian Galaxy and American Chinook hops balances out this brew with a distinct pine note in the finish.

Judge Roy Bean is an American stout brewed with copious amounts of fresh Fairhope Roasting Company coffee. Whole Madagascar vanilla beans are then added, giving this 5% ABV stout a decadent blend of chocolate, vanilla and espresso notes — a perfect combination for cooler holiday weather in Lower Alabama. This beer is our tribute to the beloved Eastern Shore landmark, and much like the old days at the Bean, we think you’ll love spending your holiday with Judge Roy.

An India Pale Ale with German & West Coast influence. Brewed to be a complex, malt forward IPA with a layering of hops that finish with earth, pine, citrus, and grapefruit aromas. An American wheat ale brewed with German toasted caramel malt and imported tropical hops for a light, smooth finish. Wiregrass is the name of a native grass that is rarely seen today, but once grew abundantly in our area. The Wiregrass Area refers to the southeast corner of Alabama where Florida and Georgia meet.

You asked and we listened. We’re showing our melons! The backbone of this brew is heavy on the wheat with just a touch of Vienna malt for complexity. We add real watermelon to our tanks during fermentation, leaving a fruity essence on the back end. German hops balance the fruit perfectly in this wheat ale for a slightly dry, extremely refreshing finish.

Bottle: 33cl with crown cap / 75cl with cork and muselet Barrels: 15l, 20l, 30l and 50l. Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV Colour and sight: pale blond, the fine and regular effervesce ensures a fine and stable head. Scent: Slightly malty, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. Flavour: Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.

NB: Depending on the location and batch, this beer can be either 8.5% or 8.7%. Please do not post an edit request asking to change it from one to the other. The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste of results from the use of three different kinds of yeast. The result is a finish of peppery bitterness without aggression. The gray bottle hides a mystery awaiting discovery by the none faint of heart.

Southern Pecan Nut Brown Ale is the first beer in the world, to our knowledge, made with whole roasted pecans. The pecans are used just like grain and provide a nutty characteristic and a delightful depth to the flavor profile. This beer is very lightly hopped to allow the malty, caramel, and nutty flavors shine through. The color is dark mahogany. Southern Pecan won a Bronze Medal in the 2006 World Beer Cup in the Specialty Beer category.

When shots were exchanged near the house of the town sheriff, a stray bullet struck his wife in the breast as she stood on the porch of her house. Luckily, she made a full recovery! The Battlefield IPA is a new twist on an American India Pale Ale. Our master blend of west coast hops and the finest American and European malt distinguishes itself from many IPAs on the battlefield. When the city of Avondale was formed in the 1850's, the main thoroughfare become know as Spring Street, and on this street (now 41st Street) is where you will find the present day home of Avondale Brewing Company. Spring Street Saison is a Belgian style farmhouse ale. The Saison is our flagship brew that helped spawn the formation of Avondale Brewing Co. Our Saison is brewed with our proprietary house yeast, a 4 malt blend and traditional Slovenian hops. Our unique brewing process along with the combination of the finest ingredients creates a thirst quenching brew with no equal. True to style this unfiltered ale has a coppery golden color and rich malty backbone that creates a unique farmhouse brew. Flavors burst with tropical fruit that combine with hints of spicy and peppery notes that are derived from our house yeast. One sip and you will fall in love.

Our year round American Amber Ale is copper colored, light, and easy drinking. Munich malt, Caramel malts, and a touch of dehusked chocolate malt add a touch of body, and a whirlpool addition of Centennial hops creates a balanced finish.

We use a heavy end of boil hop addition of Cascade and Zythos as well as Apollo hop oil extract. Then we add a first heavy dry hop of Cascade and Eureka towards the end of fermentation which give the yeast an opportunity for biotransformation. Namaste White was originally brewed at our pub in Rehoboth Beach with our Italian friend Leo from Birra del Borgo. It was a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production) in 2009.
